The Misadventures of a Fanboy
James Femmer learned to read before enrolling in kindergarten. Five minutes later he decided he could do better than the guy who wrote that Dick and Jane stuff and began crafting his own tales. In the beginning, he busied himself 'fixing' stories which didn't end to his satisfaction, and writing blatant self-insertion into his favourite films and novels. Fortunately, that sort of thing didn't last long and James was writing his own stories by the time he started high school.
This sort of thing made him an outcast in his native land, but he didn't care, he was enough of a 'freak' to begin with, and writing became his salvation. Discovering the internet led James to online roleplaying, and he's played everything from Vampire: the Masquerade to World of Warcraft.
After an uneventful stint in college, James moved to the uneventful centre of Pennsylvania, where he's worked as a customer service rep and a car salesman. He hopes to escape all this meniality by becoming rich and famous.
In his spare time, James enjoys hiking up the Appalachian trail, painting, playing tabletop RPG's, and getting purposely lost on the back roads of Hicksville in his silver Fit.
